Nataline Rodrigues is a strategic, results driven, entertainment executive with a proven track record in production and programming. With a solid foundation in independent production and seasoned experience as a broadcast executive, Nataline is known for her commitment to creative excellence and delivering compelling cross platform content in all genres for global audiences.
In her current role as Senior Vice President of Development with Vortex Media, Nataline works to develop and produce movies and indie features. In her capacity as a course instructor with the Toronto Film School, Nataline continues her love of teaching and mentorship, by bringing out the best in her students pursuing careers in screen writing. Nataline also works as a strategic advisor on LUV, a new to social network for the romance creator community.
As Director of Original Content at Rogers Media, Nataline most recently oversaw the submission, development, production, and acquisition of original Canadian programming in all genres for television brands and platforms like Citytv, OMNI, OLN, FX and Viceland. Prior to her role at Rogers Media, Nataline held the position of Executive in Charge of Scripted Production at the CBC and Executive in Charge of Unscripted Production at Canwest and Alliance Atlantis, where she drove the development and production of hit series.
Nataline cut her teeth in the independent production sector where her passion for storytelling and dedicated work ethic led her to develop and produce factual and dramatic content. Her critically acclaimed documentaries include: A Deathly Silence, Canada’s War in Colour and Planet Storm. Nataline effectively fosters inclusive collaborations with all stakeholders, that include producers, studios, distributors, broadcasters, government,
cultural and educational sectors.
