Speaker Beth Iley
Beth joined Amazon Studios in 2022. In her role, she sources and develops original Canadian programs for Amazon’s streaming service Prime Video to strengthen Amazon studios’ ties within the Canadian screen industry.
Previously she was the Director of Development for New Metric Media, where she developed a slate of scripted dramas and comedies, including Children Ruin Everything for CTV and Roku, and Bria Mack Gets A Life for Crave. Her work also includes development of internationally acclaimed series Orphan Black (CTV Sci-Fi, BBC America, BBC Worldwide), X Company (CBC, History Channel, Sony International), The Next Step (Family Channel, Hulu, BBC Worldwide), and Killjoys (CTV Sci-Fi, Syfy, NBC Universal) for which she also served as Producer.
