Speaker Laurie Januska
Laurie’s 20+ years of in-depth experience in the feature film, television and screen-based industry has prepared her for almost anything, scripted or improvised! Her experience climbing the ranks at respected industry membership organizations saw her creating professional development programming for the full range of creative workers, from entry level to career veterans, in ever-changing work environments.
Her current role at WIFT Toronto as Director of Programming has allowed her the opportunity to expand her professional development audience, and provide service and insight all across the sector, with both established professionals as well as emerging professionals from equity-seeking communities. She lives the WIFT Toronto motto: Lift While You Climb.
