Eagle Vision

A Co-owner and Executive Producer of one of Canada's largest production companies, Indigenous-owned Eagle Vision, Kyle Irving O.M. has produced more than 300 hours of film and television content over the last 22 years.

His recent film credits include Executive Producer on Emmy nominated Feature Doc Buffy Sainte-Marie: Carry It On which premiered on the opening night of TIFF 2022; Co-Executive Producer on Bones of Crows which also premiered at TIFF; Executive Producer on Orphan: First Kill; Executive Producer along with Taika Waititi on Night Raiders; Producer on the recently released Diaspora written and directed by two-time TIFF winner Deco Dawson which premiered at the 2022 Festival du Noveau Cinéma in Montreal; and Producer on the upcoming Madison Thomas directed feature film Finality of Dusk premiering at the Red Nation International Film Festival, in Los Angeles and the much anticipated upcoming Deaner ‘89 written and starring Paul Spence of FUBAR fame.

His other feature film producing credits include Oscar winner and nominee for Best Picture Capote; the seminal and timeless We Were Children, along with Blue State, Walk All Over Me, Reasonable Doubt, and Lovesick.

Some of his TV Executive Producer credits include: the recently released True Story Part 2 for History Channel, and 2022's True Story Part 1, the ratings hit scripted series Skymed for Paramount +, CBC and CBS Studios; Reclaim(ed) Snapchat’s just released first original Canadian series; four seasons of the scripted series Burden of Truth for CBC, The CW, Hulu and Universal UK; the iconic international hit factual series Ice Road Truckers for History Channel, AETN, seen in 80+ countries; the hit comedy series for APTN Lumi DJ Burnt Bannock; and three seasons of the doc series 7th GEN for APTN which is currently in production.
Collectively, Irving's productions have been nominated for forty-four Gemini/CSA's with eleven wins including twice being nominated for Best Dramatic Series, five Oscar's with one win, one Emmy, five BAFTA's with one win, five Independent Spirit Awards with three wins, one Golden Globe win, five Shorty Awards with two wins, four Banff Rockie Awards with two wins including the 2022 Innovative Producer of the Year, and the Cinequest Audience Choice Award. He was also the proud recipient of a 2017 Beyond Borders award honouring Canadian journalists for exemplary work investigating child sexual abuse and exploitation. 

Having worked in the Indigenous community with his business partner Lisa Meeches for more than 20 years Irving has a strong focus on championing under-represented talent development and has mentored and supported numerous emerging writers, directors, producers, and crew.

He was from 2010-11 the National Events Producer of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada and from 2018-19 the Creative Director and Executive Producer of the #sacredMMIWG campaign and National Closing Event for the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. He is also a strong supporter financially and in-kind to independent films, emerging talent, talent programs and scholarships.

A proud resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Irving was honoured by being named to the Order of Manitoba in 2021, Manitoba's highest honour.
