Brandon Patry graduated from Laurentian University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. Shortly following his undergraduate degree, Brandon attended Cambrian College’s Graphic Design program before shifting career focus to the film industry and obtaining a position with Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival.

Starting out on an internship in 2018, Brandon now holds the position of Lead, Marketing and Industry Relations where he oversees and manages all marketing efforts for the organization on a year-round basis. Additionally, Brandon joined the Cinéfest Programming Team as a Short Film Programmer in 2019 and has since expanded his expertise to include the programming of narrative features and documentaries.

Presently, Brandon has experienced 6 editions of Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival, with his most recent edition having occurred September 16-24, 2023. The growth and cumulative experience gained across the last 6.5 years has provided him with the tools and knowledge necessary to successfully navigate the film industry on behalf of one of Canada’s premier film festivals.
