Pauline Decroix is an award-winning Picture Editor based in Toronto with 20+ years of experience, in both Canada and France. In France, Pauline worked on a range of projects including documentaries, major game shows, a few TV series and a feature film. Pauline has been working in Canada since 2009. In 2016, Pauline shifted focus to narrative storytelling and was fortunate enough to be a resident at the prestigious Canadian Film Centre.
Right when the pandemic hit, she was thrilled to receive her first Canadian Screen Award for Best Editing on the documentary On the Line, directed by Juliet Lammers and Lorraine Price. Pauline was also awarded the Canadian Cinema Editors Best Editing in a Short Film two years in a row (2020 and 2021) : My Lady With The Camellia (directed by Edouard Montoute), and You Will Still Be Here Tomorrow (directed by Michael Hanley).
This year, she had the pleasure to have 2 projects she worked on premiering at the Hot Docs International Film Festival : The Hairdresser (directed by Lorraine Price), and Body Politics (directed by Aisha Fariclough). Pauline is currently working on the feature film, Scavengers, directed by Samuel Plante.
